The Proctor-Silex 26500 Morning Baker Belgian Waffle Baker is the small appliance giant’s latest addition to their line of waffle makers. For about $30 dollars consumers can whip up light and fluffy homemade Belgian style waffles for a fraction of the cost of ordering them at your favorite breakfast joint.

The 26500 features a compact size measuring measures approximately 11 x 8 x 4 inches. Its space saving design folds into a neat upright position making a nice addition for folks with a smaller kitchen.

Most of the electric waffle makers that we looked at had non-stick grid surface and the Proctor-Silex delivers the goods here. The surface is super slick and easy to clean. In addition to an easy to clean cooking surface, we found that unlike similar style waffle makers, the Proctor-Silex did not over flow. If you’ve tried other waffle makers in the past you know that this is a huge plus because even though the grids may be non stick the sides of the waffle makers are not.

As much as we like this model there may be one drawback for some families and that would be the cook time. It takes about 5 minutes for this waffle maker to make one 7 inch waffle. Larger families may want to look at a model that cooks in shorter time to avoid long waits, or consider buying more than one. However if you have a small family and enjoy simplicity in design, the Proctor-Silex 26500 Morning Baker Belgian Waffle Baker may be the perfect addition to your kitchen.

I've had this waffle maker for several years and it makes THE BEST waffles!

This is a great basic waffle iron. It does have an indicator light to tell you when it's ready for the batter.

Well, we wanted waffles and that's what we got with this waffle maker.

I read a LOT of reviews before picking the 26500.

I have tried several waffle irons abd this one is the easiest to keep from over flowing.Love It!
